Core Capabilities

Four Functions That Drive the Platform

Each function addresses a specific stage of the information lifecycle — from intake and classification through to review and enquiry.

Classification Engine

Automatically assigns incoming items to the most appropriate category using AI-assisted pattern recognition.

Structured Review

Presents classified records in ordered, filterable views so users can examine information at the appropriate level of detail.

Information Search

Allows users to query classified records by keyword, category, date, or tag to locate specific items efficiently.

Enquiry Routing

Captures user submissions and routes them to the appropriate part of the support structure for review and response.

Each Function Explained

01 — Classification Engine

When information enters the Kookabryn system, the classification engine is the first component it encounters. The engine examines each item — its content, structure, and associated metadata — and determines the category to which it most closely belongs.

The categories themselves are defined within the platform's organisational schema. Where an item fits clearly into a single category, it is assigned there directly. Where there is ambiguity — for example, when content could plausibly belong to two or more categories — the engine flags the item as requiring a confidence review, and the record appears in the workspace with an indication that its classification should be verified.

Classification does not alter the original input. It adds a structured layer on top of what was received, making the item navigable and reviewable without changing the underlying information.

02 — Structured Review

Once items are classified, the structured review function determines how they are presented to the user. Records are surfaced through a set of view modes — a list view for sequential examination, a grouped view for seeing all items in a category together, and a timeline view for reviewing activity in chronological order.

Each view includes filtering options. Users can narrow displayed records by date range, by classification confidence, or by a specific tag applied during intake. The structured review function does not modify records; it arranges them for inspection.

03 — Information Search

The search function allows users to query the classified record set directly. Queries can be entered as plain text, and the system matches them against record content, assigned categories, and applied tags. Results are returned in relevance order, with the most closely matched records appearing first.

Search is available from within the main workspace and from any record view. It is designed to handle both broad queries — where a user wants to surface all records related to a general topic — and precise queries where a specific record or identifier is already known.

04 — Enquiry Routing

The enquiry routing function connects user submissions to the appropriate part of the Kookabryn support structure. When a user submits a request — whether to access the platform, to query a classification decision, or to seek general support — the routing layer applies a set of rules to determine where that submission should be directed.

Submissions can be categorised at the point of entry using the request-type field on the enquiry form. This categorisation helps the routing function direct the submission accurately and reduces the time needed to triage incoming enquiries. The function does not generate automated responses, but it ensures that each submission reaches the team member best placed to address it.

Getting Started

How to Request Access to the Platform

Access to Kookabryn's functions is available by enquiry. The process involves a short sequence of steps, outlined below.

  1. Review what the platform offers

Read through the functions described on this page and the Interface overview so that your enquiry can be as specific as possible about what you are looking for.

  2. Submit an access enquiry

Use the Enquire page to send a message to the Kookabryn team. Select "Access Request" as the request type and include any relevant context about your intended use of the platform.

  3. The team reviews your submission

Enquiries are reviewed in the order they are received. The team may contact you for additional information if the request requires clarification before it can proceed.

  4. You receive a response

A response will be sent to the email address provided in your enquiry. The response will outline next steps or, where access cannot be extended, explain the reason.
